I am running Ubuntu 18.04.2 and have been doing so for a while. I have a laptop and a connected monitor. My problem is that when I am sent work by the design team I cannot see very faint colours. I have tried to adjust brightness and colour related things and previously tackled Gamma but it is really annoying when you can't see what your colleagues do. As such work I've made appears darker when viewed on other devices which is a real problem.

What settings do I need to change?
