I’ve just downloaded iTunes on my ubuntu and it’s working but it appears as a black screen any ideas how to fix it ? Here is a link for picture https://imguh.com/image/Mw99y

  You're likely running iTunes via WINE. Try a newer version of WINE. If that doesn't help, it'll likely never work. Apple is constantly changing iTunes so that it doesn't work with WINE.

You have to use iTunes version 12.9.3 and older (32-bit). It doesn't work with newer versions of iTunes.

I highly recommend using the installation procedure described here:

Installation procedure

At each step you have a list of lines you have to copy and paste in the terminal one by one followed by pressing the Enter key.

Please replace user in the next paths with your own Ubuntu username,
e.g. instead of WINEPREFIX=/home/user/.wine32 winetricks
you should have WINEPREFIX=/home/john/.wine32 winetricks .

1. 
   

   Install current Wine version directly from the winehq repository:

   
   
   

   wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/Release.key 
   sudo apt-key add Release.key 
   

   
   
   

   For the next line, change disco to your current distribution name
   (Yse disco if you use 19.10 and the eoan repository doesn't work.)

   
   
   

   sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ disco main'
   sudo apt update
   sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable
