I succesfully start Internet connection on my Ubuntu 19.04 VM (in VirtualBox).
I checked that by connecting to internal company page, which is allowed by proxy.
Proxy is configured by Wired Settings -> Network Proxy -> Automatic.
There are no other changes in this machine, it's fresh installation.

Then I try to wget http://google.com and it gives me Network is unreachable error.
After this I try to wget the same site as before with result: Temporary failure in name resolution.

When I restart, I can connect to the first site without the problem.

Additionaly, the Network Login application is started, Hotspot Login window opens with the information Error resolving “nmcheck.gnome.org”: Temporary failure in name resolution inside - I don't now what it is and why it pops up.

The question is: what is happening on my VM? Why the connection seems to be there, and then goes away?

Additionaly, there is a question mark shown on the top of wired connection icon (not sure if this is related).
