I had win xp, win 8 and ubuntu all installed side by side in my machine.
I formatted the disk that had Win xp.
Now, I have a issue in booting win 8. It shows no installation media available. However through ubuntu it can clearly observed that data of win 8 is not affected at all.
What can I do to make my win bootloader fetch win8 from hard disk?
On the other hand ubuntu is working without any issue.

Hi, If you are trying to repair win8 bootloader. Its very hard. Even if you success, their are changes that you will have broken tools. Ubuntu can help you recover personal files in c-drive. Then you can go a head with repair install step. neosmart.net/wiki/fix-uefi-boot

If you deleted XP, which probably had boot flag and then had the Windows 8 boot files. Add boot flag to Windows 8 partition if a primary partition and from a Windows repair disk run Windows repairs. That cannot be fixed from Linux as you are missing Windows bootmgr & BCD.
