I'm trying to use the GNOME Shell extension, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I see this ON/OFF switch (on https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel/ for instance) but when I switched it ON I don't see any new extensions in my GNOME Tweak tool. When I refresh the page, I see the switch has gone back to OFF. I don't have a lot of experience w/proxies, and I'm wondering if the one we have in this office is the reason I'm having these problems.
I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.2. The chrome-gnome-shell is already installed.
