What options when you used in Rufus? Keep in mind your machine is UEFI, not BIOS, and the stick should be able to boot in UEFI mode.

I used GPT and NTFS otherwise it won't be recognized by the laptop while booting. But i am not sure if my usb stick is able to boot in UEFI mode.

There's GPT and NTFS... You're probably confusing it with GPT/MBR which is the wrong option. You need GTP only for UEFI. (Or select the DD method).

Once again, I can only advise you to try to figure out your problem with FAT32, and not waste your time trying to use NTFS simply because NTFS seems to get you a bit further. FAT32 should work. If it doesn't, you need to figure out why.
