I have an apple magic keyboard (amazon link), but I want the regular "windows" keymap. It's almost working, except for some keys.
The Left Alt functions as the "left super" key, and the left command key does nothing. I want the left ALT to be the "windows/super" key, and the left command key to be left alt, etc. Just like with a "normal" keyboard, right?
Also, the "pipe" character which is located top left on my normal Norwegian keyboard is now the key on the left side of z.
Maybe I just suck at googling, but I have literally spent more than 3 hours searching and trying. The closest thing I've found is to edit /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols, but I can't figure out how to determine what keys to change (i.e what key represents the left command, is it A01, AD11, or some other obscure name?).
I can't help but feel that people must have done this before and documented the steps, and that I'm just unable to find it. Appreciate any tips.

As regards the pipe symbol, the answer to this question would probably fix that.
