I installed Ubuntu Budgie and now, I am unable to switch back to Ubuntu 18.04. A few people said that there should be a small icon beside username while looging in. I dont see any icon as well. please help

I installed Ubuntu Budgie and now, I am unable to switch back to Ubuntu 18.04. A few people said that there should be a small icon beside username while looging in. I dont see any icon as well. please help
