I have external gedit plugins in the folder path /usr/share/gedit/plugins
. I have them as well in ~/.local/share/gedit/plugins/
.
When I start gedit via search in Ubuntu 18.04 I am able to activate external plugins (although I have to activate them every time).
When I start gedit via terminal I'm simply not able to activate external plugins, I get an error similar to the one described here.
I would like to have the plugins activated every time I start gedit via terminal or search... any help?
Note: sudo gedit
does not solve the problem.
