I am totally new to linux. I have got a linux machine with Ubuntu 18.04 installed. Since I wanted to work remotely, I tried to set up google chrome RDP on it. However, it didn't work. Unfortunately, after that, even after I removed chrome remote desktop, I cannot start the gnome-terminal (I can start the xterm though). However, when I am logged in from another machine using Microsoft Remote Desktop, I could open the gnome-terminal fine. I am not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
