I'm having a problem using multiple 3g dongles because they have the
same prod id (checked via lsusb) so only 1 of them connects.
I'd like to use different mobile networks at the same time (not to bond them together or anything like that).
How can I solve this issue? I'm really confused.
Thank you,
Daniel

Do you want to connect to different phone networks at the same time, or switch between the phone networks? The question is not clear. Please edit the question above with more information.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using? Try runningnm-connection-editor
from the command line and manually add the other dongles.

Ubuntu 18.04.1 and I'm unable to connect using nm-connection-editor, it only shows the Mobile Network(s) connection settings, i can't select an interface and connect from that panel. I'm using the network manager and modem-manager-gui and the connection keeps failing if one dongle is already connected.
