I have recently upgraded my laptop hard disk from hdd to ssd and want to reinstall ubuntu on my ssd, but as i am trying to do so, ubuntu shows me an error
unable to find medium with live partition

Thanks for your question could you add some tech specs of the machine you are trying to install Ubuntu on eg. manufacturer, model, bios ver etc it will help in finding an answer to your issue.
