My laptop keyboard works normally on my windows partition on the same machine so I know it (probably) isn't a hardware problem. It happens every time after the system automatically locks. When I plug in a usb keyboard, I regain the ability to use either keyboard. I don't know what to call it, but it seems like Ubuntu forgets to "re-enable" the keyboard after opening the laptop lid, and plugging in a usb keyboard forces it to. Any ideas of what is going on here/how to fix it? Is this a known bug?
