Ok, so my geforce gtx 1050ti isn't being used. I recently installed Ubuntu 18.10. Things I have tried:
- Switching to proprietary drivers.
- uninstalling and reinstalling all the Nvidia packages on my computer.
- making sure secure boot wasn't turned on by accident.
- upgrading my drivers.
- downgrading my drivers.
To add insult to injury, my Nvidia settings application looks like this:
It looks like that no matter if I reinstall it. Trying to switch to my Nvidia gpu via terminal command tells that I'm already using it. My framerate and this:
tells me otherwise.
I used to use Linux Mint, and my GPU worked fine with the proprietary drivers. Any hint as to what might be causing the problem would be appreciated. Thanks.
