I am attempting to play a video on a loop using VLC. I have a bash script set up that runs:

vlc -L -f Video.mp4

It runs perfectly fine during the day, but when I come back in the morning the screen is black and the playback slider shows the time to be 3:31/3:30. If I drag the slider back to 3:29, the video resumes playback and loops normally.

What may be causing the loop to break, and how can I ensure it continuously loops?
