I need to disable the leds of my Nvidia MSI RTX graphic card, plugged into an Ubuntu 18.04.2 server.
After installing successfully the nvidia drivers, I tried the command:
nvidia-settings -q all
as advised in
How to turn off my graphic card led Logo (Gigabyte Nvidia GTX970)
but I get the following message:
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
ERROR: The control display is undefined; please run `nvidia-settings --help` for usage information.
I am remotely accessing the server, I would rather not have to plug a monitor to it (if that is the problem).
What is the solution ?
